Our Talented Head Chef
Janos, also known as Johnny to his team here at Tankardstown, has been part of the Brabazon team for many years, and assuming the role of Head Chef was a natural progressive step to inject his own flair for food into carefully created menus, which will please both the casual and the discerning diner. His recent accolades include 'Best Restaurant in Meath' 2023 at the Irish Restaurant Awards, 'Chef of the Year - Leinster' and 'Country House Restaurant of the Year - Leinster' at the YesChef Ireland Awards 2023.
Dishes are based on fresh seasonal produce, from the walled kitchen gardens and poly tunnels on the Tankardstown Estate where possible, and from local and regional producers. We look forward to wonderful new menus evolving over the coming seasons, and welcoming you to taste this talent…
