Exclusively yours for your perfect day, guests are welcomed into the Main House drawing rooms for pre-dinner drinks & canapés, then following down the winding staircase to the magnificent Orangery where dining, worthy of its surroundings, is served with great care and attention to detail.

The Orangery

The Orangery at Tankardstown nestles comfortably around the main house at lower garden level. Bursting with light this wonderful airy space is adorned with chandeliers, antique furniture and gilt edged mirrors. Seating for up to 250 diners can be catered for at round tables dressed with silk coverings.

On the day the venue, grounds and accommodation were immaculate, and they way the staff dealt with us and our guests was brilliant - they made everyone feel so special and important! Again, Ruth on the day, aided by Des in the evening, were fantastic and made our day and evening everything we wanted and so much more! We absolutely loved this venue and had the best time! "We knew from the moment of stepping into Tankardstown in July 2023 - this was the place for us. For our wedding weekend to play out as it did & how perfectly it flowed from start to finish was incredible. Thank you all for making this weekend & our wedding day the most incredible and unforgettable day of our lives. Tankardstown is the best there is for a reason and that shone through so clearly via every member of staff who worked on the day of the wedding. The world class chefs, the incredible wait staff, brilliant bar staff, impeccable cleaners, kind porters & night porters, welcoming reception and everyone we crossed. Our parents, as well as countless friends & family members said it was the best display of service they have ever seen at a wedding. Kate and I could not agree more - we are so grateful to every person present on the day for showing up in such an incredible way for us on the day. "Where to begin with this stunning venue! From the day we drove up that picturesque drive for our viewing, we knew instantly this was the venue we were going to get married in. From that very day, we were in communication with our wedding co-ordinator Sarah who was thoroughly helpful throughout the planning process right through to the final preparations. We had lots of questions throughout and she was always more than helpful and accommodating. Every staff member we had the good fortune of dealing with over the last couple of years have been absolutely phenomenal, from the door staff, the driver, bar staff, waiting staff, reception and restaurant staff - each and every one of you have been exceptional customer service professionals and made every interaction a positive one. Right up until the day we left the venue the morning after our big day, we couldn't believe how wonderfully helpful all staff were. We are more than aware you facilitate weddings almost every day of the week, but you somehow made us feel as though we were the only and most special wedding you had catered for. Our guests were absolutely raving about the generous portions of food on the day and how tasty it was. The venue itself speaks for itself, from the estate sitting rooms, to the beautiful orangery and the exceptional guest bedrooms, every square inch of this property is breath-taking. We couldn't have picked a better venue for our special day and our guests still can't believe how unbelievably stunning Tankardstown House is. Thank you for making our dreams come true!"

A Dream Wedding

"We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this incredible venue. From start to finish everything was flawless, beautiful surroundings, outstanding food, and most importantly, the warm and attentive staff who made our day unforgettable. A huge thank you to Aine our amazing wedding coordinator! You were an absolute dream to work it, so organised, calm and genuinely kind. You made everything feel seamless, and we felt completely at ease knowing you had everything under control. You are amazing at what you do! We also have to mention the one and only Fran - what a gent! You brought such a lovely energy to the day and made both us and our guests smile and laugh throughout the day. The food was top class, with so many guests commenting on how delicious everything was. The kitchen team went above and beyond to cater to everyone's dietary needs, and it didn't go unnoticed. The accommodation was another major highlight for us. When we first viewed the venue the luxurious and cosy rooms really stood out - and our guests agreed. So many told us it was the nicest place they ever stayed for a wedding. If we could do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing and would 100% choose Tankardstown every single time! Thank you to everyone there for making our day so carefree, fun and full of happiness.

Greatest Day of Our Lives

"What can we say but wow! We hand on heart had the greatest day of our lives, I could not be happier with how everything went. The venue, wow, our guests did not stop raving about it. We can’t thank all the staff at Tankardstown that were there on the day who looked after us all enough. It was everything I dreamed of and more. The service was incredible, everyone was raving about the food the whole day from the canapes, to the main meal and the late evening food which was a massive hit and timed so well with the band taking their break. Everything just felt so seamless and smooth, there was ample food and wine. The orangery looked so beautiful as well it was exactly as I had envisioned. We also loved the way the top table was set so we could all chat to each other and everyone had a good view. We ended up having a sing song in the sitting room with all the ramparts till after 3am. I’m still smiling now thinking about it all. I could honestly go on for hours about how perfect everything was. We have been in a complete wedding bubble and not stopped looking at pictures and watching videos and swapping stories about the whole day since. Tankardstown will always hold such a special place in our hearts and we would absolutely love to return at some point in the future. No doubt some of our guests who are newly engaged are enquiring already about it. Thank you so much again."

International Wedding

"A big thank you for all of your help and support with our wedding. We’ve had a little time to let the weekend sink in and it was everything we could have hoped for. The entire teams help was invaluable. Together we were able to make a great day or two happen, ones that we will remember for the rest of our days. We were a very international crowd with people who regularly go to weddings, but the feedback we’ve had is that Tankardstown was a perfect venue - from the food to the accommodation, the setting and the hospitality. We are also conscious that we had a lot of things we wanted to incorporate into the event and Tankardstown was so accommodating, and we massively appreciate that.
