A wonderful place for a family reunion - the main house lends itself to entertaining with beautifully furnished reception rooms - families can stay in the courtyard ‘own door’ suites which offer one and two bedroom suites all with sitting rooms and fully equipped kitchens allowing everybody space and privacy yet be together for dining or entertainment.

We enjoyed our stay at Tankardstown House very much! It's a lovely place, beautifully decorated, with a wonderful mixture of old world charm and modern day comfort. The house felt like an old friend's residence, rather than a hotel, and the grounds were beautiful. The staff took excellent care to see that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially enjoyed Thomas, the young man from Poland, who served us at dinner and breakfast. He was an impressive server with a charming personality! We happily recommend the house to anyone looking for accomodations in the area and we hope to return again someday!
