Irish Farmers' Market comes to Tankardstown
Beginning on Easter Sunday 4th April, we will play host to the Irish Farmers’ Market.

Complete with music in the background – ranging from buskers to gypsy orchestras to jazz on the lawns – each month will also see plenty of food and drink to enjoy on site, including hot toddies, barbecues, a Pimms bar, a champagne bar, and other seasonal delights!
People worldwide are rediscovering the benefits of buying local food – fresher than anything in the supermarkets, tastier and more nutritious, it’s also good for your local economy as buying directly from family farmers helps them stay in business.

We've made it into Ireland's Blue Book 2010...here's what they have to say:
Voted Condé Nast Traveller’s Best House to Rent in Ireland 2010, the opulent surroundings of Tankardstown await you for a truly unforgettable experience. You may choose to stay in the chic courtyard suites or in one of the six luxurious bedrooms of the main house, which is also available to rent in its entirety. Tankardstown is a stunning blend of classic and contemporary style, designed around people rather than just to impress. Find an outdoor hot tub cunningly tucked into the walled garden, a comprehensive DVD library, wine cellar, horse riding and amiable dogs available to accompany a leisurely evening stroll.
Enjoy simple food and delicious wines at an unhurried pace in the estate’s Bistro or find a more formal dining experience in the stylish restaurant Brabazon. Set in landscaped gardens at the back of the main house, discover cascading fountains, box hedges and a sweet garden shop just begging to be explored.
